Kavish Agarwal, born on February 9, 2008, is a vibrant student at Step by Step School. He is deeply passionate about technology, particularly mobile app development, and actively explores ways to leverage it for social good. Alongside his academic pursuits, Kavish immerses himself in humanitarian causes and community service initiatives, driven by a desire to make a positive impact. When Kavish became involved with the "Hope on Wheels" project, dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities, he found inspiration that sparked the idea for his own initiative. From this association, the "AccessAid" project was born, aiming to tackle accessibility challenges faced by people with disabilities.
At the core of Kavish's project is an innovative mobile application designed to provide comprehensive information on accessible locations within villages, cities, and towns across India. This app serves as a vital resource, listing crucial facilities such as hospitals, educational institutions, theaters, and restaurants, to create inclusive spaces for all.
To ensure the project's success nationwide, Kavish introduced the concept of "Authors" or "Village Incharges," individuals tasked with collecting data through surveys and contributing to the app's database. Through his leadership and technological expertise, Kavish is driving meaningful progress towards a more inclusive society.
